Brandt, the company handling sales and marketing of Terhi, has already for many years cooperated with SMO as a dealer for Terhi boats. We are happy to inform you that we now can deepen the cooperation with SMO who will continue as an importer in France.
TerhiTec Oy is the Finnish manufacturer of Terhi boats, with almost 50 years background. TerhiTec factories are part of the Otto Brandt Group, and both the Terhi and Silver boats are sold and marketed by Oy Brandt Ab. All Terhi boats are made out of two separate ABS-plastic shells and the space in-between the two shells are then filled with a non-absorbent polyurethane foam. This sandwich-like construction makes Terhi boats not only unsinkable, but also very long-lived and remarkably safe to use. Thanks to its unique manufacturing method and broad-minded attitude towards product development, Terhi has grown into a popular and valued international boat brand.
SMO was established in 1992 and has a long history distributing Terhi boats. “We have been distributing the TERHI brand for almost 20 years, becoming the importer for the French market seems to be the logical next step for us”, says Fanch Masson, Sales Director SMO. SMO´s main goal for 2021 is to develop their Terhi distributor network by getting new distributors. SMO will have a national stock in their warehouse to smoothen the distribution of Terhi boats to French customers.
The co-operation between Terhi boats and the Honda and Suzuki network in France enables the Terhi boats to be delivered as a complete ‘Boat Package’, including both the boat and the engine for very attractive prices to their customers.
